It is now official, Armin Van Buuren was just voted best DJ of the world by the readers of the magazine djmag.com, which organizes each year a vote on the internet, where anyone can elect his favorite dj or musical style. Malgré son jeune age, Laurent alias Airwave n’est pas un novice de la scène electro.

Revenons en 1997, il fait ses premières sorties sous le très célèbre label Bonzaî Record, ce qui le conduit à travailler avec des artistes de première qualité. Airwave étant son plus precieux projet solo, dès 2000, il décide d’apparître en tant que dj sous ce pseudo là. Une production infini sous 35 alias différents l’ammène à jouer au côté des plus grands dj’s de la planête, tels que DJ Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Sasha, John Digweed, Chris Fortier, Dave Seaman, Seb Fontaine, nommez-les vous mêmes.
