Nukleuz has always had huge success with it’s Trance Sessions series, simply because of the consistent quality of each release. Trance Sessions Vol. 4 is no different.
Mixed in the same Nukleuz studios that have lead the label to on be a leading purveyor of trance, hard trance, tech trance and general euphoric tuneage over the years, this mix presents ten tracks of upfront, uplifting and pumping Trance as it should be.
Featuring tracks from the likes of Nukleuz front man Pierre Pienaar and other Dance music leaders in the form of Melodia and Fonzerelli is an unending rampage of Trance bangers.
First up is Melodia’s mix of Zentribe and Linda Newman, ‘Let The Music Flow’, a building, flowing, chilled out warm up to the ever developing mix. Following that is Melodia back on the buttons, this time for a solo effort with, ‘Motion Theory’ - an emotive track full of the fundamental, key Trance elements that have made the genre such a success over the years.
Next, Pierre Pienaar is in the mix for Ibiza Knights, ‘Feels so Good (To Be Alive) giving the beautiful vocals the beautiful trance backing they always deserved. TFT then steps up with his track, ‘Into The lights’ with the sort of track that has become synonymous with the Trance sound and is sure to make every clubber do just what the title says, put their hands up and look up into the lights.
The huge Pierre Pienaar remix of Fonzerelli’s ‘Spirit (Wanna Stay Here Forever)’ also features on the compilation, as does the Melodia Mix of one of this summers set to be club anthems, Connected Ft. Max’C ‘A Feeling’ with it’s gorgeous, catchy vocals that sit perfectly over Melodias pumping Trance beat.

Big In Ibiza the new label from the people behind the resurgent UMM UK drop their biggest tune of the year Connected ft Max’C ‘A Feeling’. This song has had a long development from underground club anthem to worldwide club smash.
After more revocals than a classic Mowtown hit eventually the perfect performance came from Max’C (of Axwell ‘I Found U’ fame) who is set to collaborate with David Guetta, Soul Avengers, Todd Terry, StoneBridge and many more top acts this summer (Max’C has also opened for P Diddy and Snoop Dogg, acted in TV mini series & films and is an accomplished dancer, moving to Finland from the US to teach Hip Hop and Break Dancing at the Helsinki Dance Academy).
We believe in the vocals, this song moves people, it’s in the melody and the words and the Fonzerelli mix brings that interesting fusion of the electronic backing track crossing with a soulful vocal, which is exactly what made the classic ‘Sweet Dreams’ work so well. “A Feeling” has in fact had many mix treatments through bootlegs and remixes over the past 3 years that has made it an anthem in many different arenas.
So now, with the perfect rendition, killer new mixes, and huge new support meaning the track has reached over 2,500,000 listeners in it’s first three weeks of radio play and who knows how many more clubbers it’s reached up and down the country, even gaining the No.1 spot in both the Music Week Club chart, and the DMC Club chart. The summer of 2008 will most definitely be all about “A Feeling”!
Connected
CONNECTED is a lose group of producers, remixers, singers, musicians songwriters who communicate create and produce via the web, with Big In Ibiza as their hub. They have never met, and may never meet but relate to each others creativity and offer in each case a part of the jigsaw that makes the whole picture.
In the case of a Feeling, the song was conceived and composed by Stu Allan (Manchester), communicating with Phil Allen (engineer, musician and singer) who was based in the record companies London studios. Their communication was email, web messenger and phone.
Fonzerelli (Northern Ireland) has supplied key remixes as have Wideboys (Portsmouth) and Melodia (Namibia) but none have ever met and received and supplied their contributions via ftp sites. After several singers were used on the track eventually Max’C (USA resident in Finland) recorded his vocals in Finland and supplied them all via the web. For some people this may seem unremarkable for more many it would be a revelation.
The role of Big In Ibiza is to help the various creative people to link and contribute and ultimately for The A&R and production staff at Big In Ibiza to finalise the song and offer, again via the web, to the DJs and fans. This would have been inconceivable 10 years ago but is now very much a natural consequence of creativity and technology.
Including Mixes from…

Aaron ‘Fonzerelli’ McClelland has established himself as the man to turn to when dancefloors need rocking and has proven his point with # 1 Download & # 1 Label of the year on DJ Download, # 1 Beatport charts and being requested personally to play alongside Tiesto in Ibiza this year!
Platinum selling producers The Wideboys add to the package dropping massive pumping house and garage mixes cementing themselves as some of the hottest producers around with their new single Snowflake getting 1xtra & Kiss FM playlisted following their chart hit Daddy O ft Shaznay Lewis.
Additional remixes courtesy of Pedro De La Fiesta who made a huge name for himself on Tito Puente Jnr’s ‘Oye Como Va’ and Love Assassins who are establishing themselves as a premier remix team following the hype on their debut ‘Teardrops’ release. Bassline has been considered the North of England’s response to the UK Garage phenomenon of the late Nineties and early Naughties. Building up at clubs and events such as the Niche Nightclub, Bassline was for a long time just that, a Niche genre. In 2008 however, the UK has gone Bassline crazy!
Since this years chart topping hits of H Two O & Platnum’s ‘What’s It Gonna Be’, T2’s ‘Heartbroken’ and Delinquent Ft Kat ‘My Destiny’ Bassline has gone from strength to strength with top selling compilations galore. Now Big In Ibiza continues this Bassline frenzy with this 4 track EP – Basslinez showcasing some more of the new Bassline anthems.
First up, Agent X give 2 of this summers forthcoming smash hits a total bassline makeover. The production duo behind this years chart hit success - H Two 0 – Whats it gonna be’ take on both Big In Ibiza’s summer anthems The Angry Kids Vs Bob Marley – ‘Mr Brown’, and the Love Assassins take on the classic 80’s classic and later 90’s Garage anthem, ‘Teardrops’,
Fresh from recent chart success ‘Daddy O’ ft Shazney, another huge production team in the form of the Wideboys get on to remix for the third track, which is another new take on the classic Tito Puente track, ‘Oye Como Va’ and definitely doesn’t fail to deliver.
The EP finishes up with something a little different and special from DJ Absurd as he takes on the latest Fonzerelli offering - ‘Infinity’
DJ EZ (KISS fm)
Agent X mix of teardrops: “Went down a treat – full club and radio support! I am liking the remix, well done and will continue to support. I played out this weekend and it does go down well.”

Since Mauro Picotto decided to launch his Electronic Music Lifestyle Party at the Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC) in 2002, the event has become a phenomenon, going from strength to strength, hosting nights all over the world and this year returning to Ibiza for its fifth successful year at Privilege, the World’s Biggest Club. Meganite is the full and complete representation of Mauro’s desires. It’s his people with his favourite DJs doing what they want to do, knowing it’s what the crowd wants too. This compilation represents just that, the music that makes Meganite, its DJs and Mauro Picotto so special.
On this album we have a live mix of exclusive cuts culled from Mauro’s superb Alchemy label and a CD of mixes, remixes and new tracks from Mauro’s illustrious career. This is where Mauro is in 2008 and as ever it’s on the cutting edge of electronic wizardry fused with pulsating infectious gyrating badass grooves. Meganite and Megatunes, a perfect harmony.
Mauro Picotto himself is one of those wandering entertainers who jumps on jets, arrives in some city anywhere on earth, plays 8 hours of unique, pulsating electronic grooves, parties and then jumps on another jet. He is the wandering minstrel of the 21st century. His name alone sends hordes of adoring fans into ecstasy. Having had an immensely successful DJing and production career with huge hits and headlining some of the world’s biggest events Mauro Picotto decided that he wanted to mould a whole event both visually and aurally by choosing the venues, the DJs and the production aesthetics. This goal became a reality when in 2004, Meganite found its home in Ibiza at Privilege. Debuting as a midweek party over the 10 busiest weeks, it was an instant success and every year since the night has become ever more legendary with the weekly number of clubbers well over 5,000.
Having seen residents including Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Mistress Barbara, John Aquaviva and Marco Carola with Mauro himself supplying the unique vibe of fat bass and throbbing grooves that have characterized his career, the event returns to Ibiza this year for 16 weekly nights over the season, highlighted by Meganite’s 5th birthday which is set to be the event of the summer featuring a “Mega” live show by Italian electronic music giants SUBSONICA, alongside Mauro and special guest Claudio Coccoluto.
CD1, mixed live by Mauro showcases those sounds he has developed, the tracks that all contain the elements that fulfill Mauro’s needs for groove, his need for bass and his need for something different that lifts spirits and vibrates bones. All tracks are exclusive to Mauro’s respected Alchemy label.
If you’ve been to a Meganite this CD will bring back the vibe, if you’ve never had a chance to go it will transport you there and allow you to live the experience with anthems such as the escalating and energy fuelled, Church Of Nonsense, Rizlard and Shark.
CD2, Mauro Picotto Past & Present - 10 years of Classics and Remixes, showcases some of Mauro’s biggest tracks to date, with remixes and edits by Mauro, his team of likeminded studio manipulators and others. Including the original mix of Iguana and a brand new remix of Lizard for 2008, two of the tracks which helped establish Mauro’s early career. Building through Fonzerelli’s remix of last year’s club smash Evribadi and Smith & Selway’s remix of Maybe, Maybe Not. As well as showcasing some of Mauro’s killer new tunes including the beautifully uplifting, The Kite and Contaminato.
Claude Von Stroke – “Church of Nonsense. Are you kidding? S**t is off the hook!”
Dubfire (Deepdish) – “Komonster was massive for me at WMC, thanx Mauro! LOVE Daniele Papini’s tune as well.
Sasha – “Excellent selection!”
Axwell – “Komonster is great.”
Hector Romero – “Komonster! Rocking beats that I’m looking forward to playing!
Funk D’Void – “Devastating motor engine noise that f**ks people up!”
Over the 5 years there have been several Meganite compilations and this season sees this very special version appearing on the BIG IN IBIZA label (with other key artists joining Mauro Picotto including Jonathan Ulysses, Fonzerelli, Tito Puente Jnr and more). 2008 will be yet another milestone in Mauro Picotto’s career and the Meganite parties will be unforgettable!

Nukleuz has always had huge success with it’s Trance Sessions series, simply because of the consistent quality of each release. Trance Sessions Vol. 4 is no different.
The first of the three tracks is the huge Pierre Pienaar remix of Fonzerelli’s ‘Spirit (Wanna Stay Here Forever)’. Both Fonzerelli and Pierre Pienaar have established themselves at the very top of their game with productions and remixes that can be heard everywhere the world over.
Second up is Ralph Novell vs Bas & Ram with Rumble. Ralph Novell and Bas&Ram have also firmly established themselves on the world Trance circuit and continue to do so. This big, pumping, synth filled trance track that leaves nothing amiss, shows exactly why.
Finally on The EP, TFT then steps up with his track, ‘Into The lights’ with the sort of track that has become synonymous with the Trance sound and is sure to make every clubber do just what the title says, put their hands up and look up into the light!
